On the 1st floor, in addition to the impressive, historical perspective (wall) of this old-town house, a new café with seating for 10 awaits. In this quiet, cosy ambiance, we serve our delicacies. As well as traditional coffee and espresso, the indulgence menu offers other types such as cappuccino and latte macchiato. To prepare them, we use coffees from the Moccaraba coffee roasting house in Kleinbasel. Of course, there is also a fine selection of teas and other alcohol-free drinks to choose from. Each drink is served with a Basler Läckerli, freshly baked on the premises and still warm from the oven.
We are also pleased to offer a selection of our delicious pralines and truffles as well as fresh macaroons and small pastries – a treat for all the senses.
