Läckerli Huus has come up with something special for the latest addition to the Läckerli Nature range. For the first time, a wholemeal spelt sourdough is being used to make this popular classic. “We wanted to create a treat that not only tastes natural but is also made from entirely natural ingredients,” explained Adrian Krähenbühl, Head of Product Development. He added: “Intentionally creating products without granulated sugar and the traditional glaze isn’t easy – but that’s exactly what makes it so exciting.”
The new Läckerli Nature aux Abricots combine the aromatic, sweet freshness of sun-ripened apricots with the mild nutty taste of pumpkin seeds. An unusual and perfectly harmonious combination that gives this creation its unmistakable, summery and fruity character. The sourdough also gives the treat a pleasant hearty taste and the finest bee honey – an indispensable ingredient for our Läckerli – adds a gentle sweetness.
